Faults
Cluster focus
Cluster camera is badly out of focus. The images returned by the camera currently are not usable so we have taken the camera offline. We are planning to install a remote focussing system for this camera on the next maintenance visit, though the focussing problem could also be indicative of a fault with the lens.
Mount tracking
On Galaxy camera images there is an elongation of the stars horizontally. This corresponds to the RA axis of our mount. We believe this is being caused by excessive wear on the RA axis worm. It is our plan to replace the worm on the next maintenance visit. We are currently liaising with the manufacturer to acquire replacement worms.
